BEAUTE FULL DECADE

 
October 28th 2014, I published my first blog, 'Adding Fuel To Your Fire' it was actually an apple juice that had ginger in it. What was unique to me at that time was writing about beauty starting from within. The ginger helps to settle any stomach and to give you some energy as well with the apple.

Fast forward to 2015, in April, when I had the pleasure of interviewing Anna Mitsios from Edible Beauty Australia, 'Let's Turn Beauty Inside Out'. At that time I hadn't had much experience. I had previously, around the year 2000, when I worked as a dance music reporter for Central Station Records and Universal Music as well. 'Kosheen KMR Interview 2001'. However I hadn't really done anything that was personal to me as that was working for somebody else and Anna sat down with me and told me all about her beautiful world of Edible Beauty. 

At that time I had some pretty bad eczema and overnight, after using Cocoa Bliss, that's my a testimonial, it went away. It was phenomenal.

Fast forward to today as it is actually the ten year anniversary of Edible Beauty Australia and I am so proud to be a part of that and to be invited to their party and information session.

2014 Anna was working as a naturopath and she saw from clients that there was a need for natural based skincare that was efficacious and in particular for pregnant women who were asking her what can they could use on their body that was safe. So she saw the need and started working from home to a company that grew exponentially here in australia, specifically bondi, to local stores.

Her brand was the first Australian brand to be launched in Sephora and now on a global scale. It is a phenomenal true story, a love story. Truly efficacious, we love that. 

For me it was an opportunity to review my own blog. I have written 295 blogs, with over 112,000 readers from over 45 countries. I had an opportunity to go back and go wow! That's actually quite impressive for a not for profit and also giving me an opportunity to look at the history of it all and to meet up with people today to discuss that as well which is wonderful.

Beauty starts for within what are we eating? What are we putting on our skin? What are we thinking? Mental health is as important, if not more, as physical health. From the humble beginnings of Edible Beauty Australia and my little blog, I am so proud, so happy and grateful.
