ALL INCLUSIVE

Turner Primary School was built adjacent to a school for kids with special needs and I am lucky to have have grown up in an inclusive environment. 

To be honest, it was no big deal for us kids as we cared for each other whether we were 'able' or less able than others. Except for sports now that I think about it. But I guess we do have Special Olympics Australia. I understand that some kids might struggle with sports (I was more about arts, science and literacy myself) more than others in regards to what they might be 'able' to do. But maybe some kids aren't too fussed about competing against other kids, maybe they just want to be included.
