A Feast Fit From A King
Most people think that emotional eating is due to lack of self-control. If emotional eating is simply poor choices that we make, then it would be easy for us to turn things around. We wouldn't have to worry over meal plans, paying money for special diets, constantly obsessing about who is eating what, when and why. Mentally exhausting!

Prader-Willi syndrome is where the person has an insatiable appetite. They were born with a genetic condition where they can't tell when they are full from eating. This leads to chronic overeating, obesity and it can develop into type 2 diabetes. This would be rather distressing for a parent to see in their 2 year old child as well as trying to explain to them that they have eaten enough when the child has no feeling of this at all. That would be frustrating for the child as well.
So if I see a stranger who is overeating, how do I know if they were born with Prader-Willi syndrome or if it is emotional eating?! Unless they are my friend or family, it is none of my business, I don't need to know or to even begin to speculate. #DontStareBeAware
Whether we eat food because it is simply "fuel for the body," it is something that we enjoy and pour our heart into, it is something that we are passionate about and we take it seriously, it is bad for us in excess but when we eat it the pieces of food temporarily fill the gaps in our psyche when we feel that we have given pieces of ourselves away, it is something that we simply can't get enough of and it is frustrating to hear people tell us what is best for us especially when they are family members-we were born this way, we will be ok*.
