Having the Emotional Intelligence (Emotional Quotient-EQ versus IQ-Intelligence Quotient) in order to implement what you have learnt, work effectively with individuals and as a team of people whilst effectively motivating them to achieve a common goal once they agree with the steps and even the goal itself...that is the key to happy and committed staff. Dare I suggest that perhaps my theory could also work as the basic building blocks for personal relationships as well?

If people are motivated to achieve results (goals) and they feel that they are understood (empathy), even if at a later point disagreements arise, then you have an amazing foundation to build upon. With time, honest and positive re-enforcement as well as consistent follow up; the value that your staff bring to your business will exceed the costs (salary and expenses) that they incur. People have lots of problems to report to you, they then try to fix problems with those problems. Train them to find the answers and to report to you some solutions. Then success is sure to follow.
