This is a great time to reflect on the great work that charitable organisations are doing around the world to support, understand, develop and love people who were born with a disability, it developed over time or within a split second.
Athletes get days off, there is no day off from your disability. Nor do most people want a day off from it. It's not about shouting it from the rooftops, it's about equality and giving people the one thing that we all want..love.
To the mums and dads out there who have kids with disabilities, the carers, advocacy groups, social media groups and the business's who are hiring people with disabilities not as tokenism, but because they are capable of doing the work; I THANK YOU. "Don't dis-my-ability"
