Did you know that Britney Spears changed the focus of the fragrance industry when in 2004 she launched Curious? 

100 million dollars in sales in 5 weeks worldwide gets peoples attention, they were curious indeed. Some of us die hard fragrance purists waited to see if this was a passing trend. Celebrities have launched their own fragrances before. They stayed a little while and then they became a tv shopping speciality.

A fragrance house is steeped in history, inspiration and emotion which takes time to develop. Celebrity fragrances capture the moment when they are working on a new project or concept. 
Customers wanted more so flankers where created to test the market a little further with Curious In Control and then Curious Heart and it sold very well. This wasn't a trend, it was a new direction. 

Justin Beiber launched his first fragrance for girls and he is a guy. It worked.
