Aromatherapy Coming Of Age-Perfect!

20 years ago aromatherapy was laughed off the cosmetics shop floor. Well it did smell like pot pourri.

Cancers increased, treatments weren't as good as they are today and people gave up using anything on their skin out of fear that it may or may not have contributed to them getting cancer. People gave up hope.

Nurses incorporated aromatherapy into their patients daily routine. They gave them something that they could clean their skin with, moisturise and work on the olfactory senses to try and balance and restore what was taken away from them. At least hope was restored. Demand increased, formula's were refined over time and today L'oreal sell their first ever facial oil for all. Consumer demand changed the industry.

Aromatherapy has no effect on cancer cells. However, it can help with the side effects of chemotherapy and replace your entire face and body care products with a range that does not contain any ingredients that may or may not be carcinogenic. Yes it is true that some people may experience a reaction to even using natural based products, it is impossible to test for every person on the planet, but the chances of that happening are on a smaller scale.

The natural therapy industry didn't attack the cosmetic giants who shunned them many years ago. They kept doing what they knew and the world changed in time to need them. Yeah sure 20 years ago aromatherapy and naturopathy was labelled as witchcraft and nonsense. We have children in excruciating pain which cannabis can help to relieve and it has the bonus of allegedly killing off cancer cells.

No matter how many times we knock her down (literally), mother nature is here to help. Oh and yes, her work is like magic and it's a craft. But please do not call her a witch. Keep an open heart and an open mind.

P.S-The L'oreal Age Perfect Oil is not 100% natural, but it is a great step forward. I love the texture on my normal to oily skin as it helps to balance it. It is fine under a cream or lotion as it has a dry oil feel. This is a moisturising oil blend and it does not work on the olfactory senses.
I try to keep a balance on reviewing all types of products, the rest is up to you.
