Dermal Transcendence

A serum for your face is the most important item in your daily routine.
A serum's function can range from oil control, boosting hydration levels to anti ageing. They have a higher concentration of active ingredients with different methods of delivery which can vary from carrier oils to ceramides. Serums carry their active ingredients into the deeper layers of the skin where the skin produces new skin cells .

The surface of your skin acts as a protective barrier. Moisturisers act to hydrate the skin surface and they do penetrate to a certain degree. A moisturiser often contains a range of ingredients to give your skin a broad spectrum of benefits, whilst serums offer a more targeted function to the deeper layers of the skin. They work best in synergy with a moisturiser.

I have to honestly say that I have been obsessed with serums since the early inception of Loreal's Ceramide Serum. The fact that the delivery system brought the ingeredients into a deeper level of the skin resonated with me.

Think of it like spraying water onto the desert. Yes it will hydrate, but ultimately it may evaporate as such, as skin needs a moisturiser to help to retain the hydration within the skin. Even oily skin can be dehydrated.

The cure for increasing hydration in your skin is FUTUR LAB Cosmeceuticals, Hyaluronic Acid +b.
I can honestly say that I have never in my life experienced the instant smoothing effect that this serum had on my skin. It was only slightly more viscous than water. It penetrated instantly into my skin leaving no feeling of tackiness or oil. Saying that I am blown away at how my skin felt as smooth as silk, as smooth as your fingers running across glass. This is not part of the company's press release, in fact I came across this serum from an amazing friend who has worked in The United Arab Emirates where this serum is a top seller.

This serum is made in Australia with many international accolades, yet it is not readily available for sale in Australia. Why is it that we do not support our local brands as much as we can, especially when there are sensational products such as this serum.

Sasy n Savy is an Australian owned and Australian made brand which is kicking up a storm on the international market and deservedly so.

It is not just an Australian anomaly. Whilst working in Harrods, I worked for Calvin Klein fragrances who were consistently ranked second in our fragrance department. In America they are considered a pharmacy brand. English brand Penhaligons fragrances are to die for but they were often overlooked for more commercial and celebrity driven fragrances from America.

Lets reduce our international carbon footprint and look closer to home for our everyday and luxurious essentials.
