Staring Isn't Caring

Not all disabilities are visible.
Not all mental health conditions are visible.
Rudeness and contempt is visible.

You may not see it in yourself, but parents of children with disabilities feel it at times.

"Don't stare, don't cross the road immediately to avoid them..sheesh, what I supposed to do?!" Just smile. Say "hi" if you like.
