Let's Turn Beauty Inside Out

What struck me as such a simple, yet an often forgotten, beauty principle is that beauty starts from within-KMR

The very core ethos of KMR Beaute is that the products we use and the way that we think can all help to work in synergy to help you feel better. In fact my very first blog was the review of a fruit juice, signifying that fundamentally what you ingest can have a desirable effect on the way that your skin looks and eventually how you feel about yourself. This is why as a trained makeup artist, there is not a lot of makeup on my blog as I truly believe that the better your skin looks, the less you may need to conceal. Therefore a simpler daily routine.

I have published quite a few blogs where I have reviewed quite an extensive range of skincare products, but this is my first skincare and inner beauty range that works with the core beliefs of KMR Beaute and with all skin types.

Edible Beauty is so good that you can eat it, although I would not recommend this as it is a skincare formulation. This is indicative of the philosophy of each product where no chemicals are used in the ingredients that could harm you externally or internally.

Does this mean that it is another organic skincare range? Yes, but no. Wildcrafted and botanical is the classification. Using this range is primarily based on the effect that it will have on your skin versus the olfactory journey.

And the additional benefits here are the collection of eight carefully formulated exotic teas. From cleansing, antioxidant rich, soothing, hormone balancing, sugar balancing, circulation, energising to stress busting. I could see a few of my friends reaping the rewards from drinking a few of these teas.

The purest delicious teas and delectable skincare in the simplicity of the black and white clean lines of their high street packaging which works harder than to simply lift the decor of one's household by looking exceptional. The inherent energy of each product is permanently activated and protected by the Miron Violet glass*.

I have known of the health benefits of tea for many years. I was raised on rose hip tea which has a high concentration of vitamin C. Rose hip is found in the No.2 tea -The Fountain Of Youth.

My skincare routine was lacking a gentle and sumptuous face polish and a moisturising mask. Fortunately Edible Beauty came to the rescue with their Desert Lime Flawless Face Polish and their Coco Bliss Regenerating Mask.

With Edible Beauty's skincare products, I was expecting strong aromas but that was not the case. The key purpose of the botanicals here was the effect on the skin.

The Desert Lime Polish gently exfoliated my skin with wattle seed, rice and strawberry extract. The conditioning effect of the camellia oil was subtly enhanced with the scent of coconut and lime.

The Coco Bliss Mask was more than a pampering experience for my skin, it is a necessity as lately I have been working outdoors and my dehydrated skin needed more than a band aid effect. Vitamin E oil danced with pomegranate, acai, shea and cocoa butter to soothe and repair my skin. What doesn't appear on the labelling is the added benefit that I discovered of the mask having a higher viscosity than other masks which made it a pleasure as I massaged the formula deeper into my skin which further amplified the effects. I noticed that the two vertical lines, the elevens, between my eyebrows had almost disappeared. The redness of my skin had subsided and my skin looked clearer. My skin is normal to oily and the plant oils in this mask did not make my skin break out as it was infusing my skin with hydration from natural skin identical oils.
Hot,  prickly, like sharp pins, eczema attacks my skin
In winter my face is under attack from strong, cold winds. The end result is eczema around my nasolabial folds, between my eyebrows and within my side burns. Quite tormenting when you work in the cosmetics industry and you face feels hot and prickly, it is oily and peeling off continously. NOTHING could calm my skin down. Face oils felt soothing, but I would have to reapply them constantly throughout the day. Most moisturisers would increase the sensation of heat, like putting butter onto a hot frying pan. The Coco Bliss mask changed all of this. After a bad episode of eczema, I use a paper thin layer of the mask on my face overnight and in the morning I wake up to calm, cool and smooth skin. Seriously a game changer for me. I recommend increasing essential fatty acids in what you eat, I love eating nuts, or taking a supplement such as fish oil capsules. You need to treat eczema topically and internally.

"Let's turn beauty inside out" is a similar belief that I have held onto since the inception of my blog. The positive way that we look at ourselves and those around us, coupled with products and services that help to enhance the way we feel about ourselves or simply make life a little easier, to me that is a winning combination. It really does start with you.
